We want everyone to be able to learn about our work and donate with ease.

Burma Aid is committed to making this website accessible, in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

What we do

Semantic, structured HTML with clear headings so screen readers can navigate the content.
Text alternatives (alt text) for meaningful images.
Descriptive labels on every form field, with clear success and error messages.
A "skip to content" link and visible keyboard focus outlines.
Colour contrast that aims to meet WCAG AA.
Reduced motion: animations are switched off automatically if your device requests it.
A responsive layout that works on phones, tablets and desktops.

Known limitations

We test as we build, but we have not yet had a full independent accessibility audit. If you find something that is hard to use, we would genuinely like to know.
